Questions/Quotes: 7/11-7/31

I haven’t done this in awhile, but lately I’ve only been watching about 5 shows, so there hasn’t been much variety in my observations/random questions about stuff I watch. Plus, my regular shows are on summer break, so the variety is even smaller. (It’s been movies and my summer shows, that’s about it. And yes, I am still watching MI-5. I have 3 episodes left.)

Over the last 2 1/2 weeks, however, I have come up with some questions and pretty choice quotes.

Songs of the Moment

I’ve been a little obsessed with music lately. I Just bought 6 singles on iTunes that have been stuck in my head for the last couple weeks (it alternates between a mental medley and a mental playlist) and an album. So, I present the 5 songs I’m obsessed with right now. If I have a different medley in my head this time next week, I’ll do another one and make it a series.

10 Patriotic Things To Do Today

In honor of our great country’s 237th birthday, I decided to come up with the 10 most patriotic things you can do to celebrate. So yes, it is the date that the United States of America was effectively born. But one could argue that the nation was truly born either before that, when the colonies declared war, or after that, when the war finally ended with the 1783 Treaty of Paris, which officially recognized the USA as a sovereign nation. End of side note.) Continue reading
